Drew Candres, Head of Technical Exchange Services at Gemini, commented: “We are excited to extend access to our platform to the NYFIX community which consists of an extensive network of asset management firms globally. We are focused on creating technology and services that help financial firms interact with crypto in ways similar to traditional asset class exchanges. Integrating with NYFIX helps our mutual customers seamlessly access the Gemini platform in a safe and familiar way.”
Jason Landauer, Head of Network Sales at Itiviti, said: “Having Gemini connected is an exciting step for Itiviti. As the cryptocurrency space continues to grow, we look forward to providing connectivity for exchanges like Gemini and their counterparties.”
NYFIX is a broker independent, vendor agnostic FIX community that connects buy-side, sell-side and trading venues in the industry’s most stable and flexible order routing network – delivered as a managed service. Itiviti’s client base includes over 800 institutional firms.
Also part of Itiviti’s FIX community is Seed CX, an institutional exchange and settlement platform for digital assets. Global Alliance Program (GAP) is the umbrella under which Itiviti manages all partner relationships globally, enabling clients to leverage a highly integrated network of technology providers. Seed CX joined the program in late 2019 to provide NYFIX customers with advanced analytics, monitoring, and post-trade processing tools in the digital asset space.
