big xyt Hires Top Executive to Expand Analytics Platform in APAC

big xyt has appointed Philip Barnes as Managing Director, Head of Business Development in the Asia Pacific to further expand the company’s position in the region.

Philip Barnes is an industry veteran with 25 years covering strategy, business development, and new business sales in the APAC region. His network and experience in Asia are key in accelerating the firm’s growth in the region. Former executive positions include Managing Director for the Global Markets at Thomson Financial, Head of Sales at Sungard, Head of Sales at Fidessa, and Head of Global Derivatives Business Development at NYSE Euronext.

Barnes is joining big xyt from Amaggio Partners where he was a Founding Partner and Chief Commercial Officer. There, he established a strategic business development and management consultancy servicing the APAC region. He provided advice and assistance to companies with their core business processes and strategic growth plans, as well as fundraising.

Philip Barnes’ appointment for the development of big xyt’s business in the APAC region follows the recent announcement of Jenny Chen’s appointment in New York, USA, to service the North American market.
