BTC Looks at 9,000, Gold Stops at 1,400

Asian stocks finished lower today as comments from Chinese Foreign Minister Geng Shuang stating that US President Donald Trump is misleading people when it comes to trade deal dampened the mood. The Nikkei225 ended 0.31 percent lower at 21,469, the Hang Seng finished 0.28 percent lower at 28,539. The Shanghai Composite ended 0.12 percent lower to 2,934, while in Singapore the FTSE Straits Times index finished 0.07 percent lower to 3,358.

Asian Equities Higher, Gold Retreats

Asian indices finished higher today as US stocks hit record highs overnight. The Nikkei225 finished 0.20 percent higher at 21,685 the Hang Seng finished 0.25 percent higher at 28,504. The Shanghai Composite finished 0.51 percent higher to 2,937, while in Singapore the FTSE Straits Times index finished 0.15 percent higher to 3,355. Australian equities ended 0.3 percent lower at 6,695 as tourist arrivals rose by 6.3% in May, the biggest monthly lift in international visitors since April 2017.

Gold Rallies, BTC Follow

Asian indices finished mixed today as traders stop for breath after the recent rally. The Nikkei225 finished 0.72 percent lower to 20,972 the Hang Seng benchmark in Hong Kong, finished 0.43 percent lower at 28,423. The Shanghai Composite finished 0.06 percent higher to 2,890, while in Singapore the FTSE Straits Times index finished 0.03 percent higher to 3,316.

DGCX’s Spot Gold Contract Receives Further Shari’ah Certification

The Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) has received a new Shari’ah certification for its Shari’ah Compliant Spot Gold contract (DGSG). The Shari’ah Pronouncement (Fatwa) was issued by Minhaj Advisory, a leading Dubai-based Islamic advisory firm, and determined that DGSG meets all the necessary Shari’ah requirements in line with Islamic rules and principles.
