EURUSD at 2 Year Lows, Gold Tests 1,400

Asian stocks finished lower today as investors await the first interest rate cut in a decade from Fed. The Nikkei225 ended 0.09 percent higher at 21,540 as Japan Nikkei Manufacturing PMI came in at 49.4, below expectations of 49.6 in July. The Hang Seng finished 0.76 percent lower at 27,565. The Shanghai Composite ended 0.81 percent lower to 2,908, while in Singapore, the FTSE Straits Times index finished 0,27 percent lower to 3,291. Australian equities also ended lower, the ASX 200 finished 0.35% lower to 6,788.

The Nikkei225 ended 0.95 percent higher at 21,620, the Hang Seng finished 0.11 percent higher at 28,402. The Shanghai Composite ended 0.07 percent higher to 2,888, while in Singapore the FTSE Straits Times index finished 0.26 percent higher to 3,365.

Asia Markets Mixed Ahead of NFP, GBPUSD Lower

Asian indices finished mixed today as investors turn cautious ahead of the important AFP data from the USA. The Nikkei225 finished 0.20 percent higher at 21,746 the Hang Seng slipped 0.07 percent at 28,774. The Shanghai Composite finished 0.19 percent lower to 3,015, while in Singapore the FTSE Straits Times index finished 0.12 percent higher to 3,011.

Asian indices finished lower today as traders focus turn to G210 meeting in Osaka, Japan. The Nikkei225 finished 0.43 percent lower to 21,193 the Hang Seng benchmark in Hong Kong, finished 1.15 percent lower at 28,185. The Shanghai Composite finished 0.87 percent lower to 2,982, while in Singapore the FTSE Straits Times index finished 0.21 percent lower to 3,304. Australian equities finished lower today with the ASX200 down 7 points or 0.1 percent to 6,658.

Bulk up for another Pound Roller Coaster Today

Brexit uncertainties weighed on Asian markets, and in Japan, the Nikkei225 main index lost 0.99 percent to 21,290, and the Hang Seng benchmark in Hong Kong gave up 0.39 percent at 28,920. The Shanghai Composite shed 1.09 percent at 3,026, while stocks in Australia has extended its longest losing streak for the year, recording loses for a fourth straight day with geopolitical concerns continuing to weigh on the local market. Soft US inflation data and further Brexit uncertainties weighed on the ASX 200 as the index fell 13 points or 0.22% to close the session at 6161.2.
