SmartTrade Hires Two New Directors as Part of European Expansion Efforts

Smart Trade, A France headquartered fintech firm recently announced that is has hired two new senior-level management executives as part of its expansion efforts. According to the official statement released by the firm, the multi-asset electronic trading technology provider has hired two new directors for its Sales team and is opening a subsidiary in Geneva as part of its efforts to strengthen its presence in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region.

Industry Veteran Anne Maree Reassigned as Citi Group’s Head of Operations for EMEA Region

US-headquartered multinational banking and financial service provider Citi Group revealed that it had reassigned one of its executives to serve as Head of Operations for EMEA region. The announcement revealed that Anne Maree Tassell, who has been a part of Citi group family for nearly 19 years, has now been reassigned from her role as head of operations and technology for New Zealand region to head of EMEA market region.

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Securities, the world’s leading financial services provider has hired former Barclay’s top executive, John Winter as its newest Chief Executive Officer for its EMEA division. In addition to the role in MUFG Securities EMEA, Winter will also head the MUFG Bank’s Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB) business in the same region. His appointment is effective from April 1st and will oversee the company’s effort to develop the company’s strategy and governance for its securities business across the EMEA region.
