Revolut extends US stocks trading to 16 hours, matching major brokerages

Revolut has introduced a new subscription service, Trading Pro, aimed at providing advanced traders with new tools and insights to improve their trading experience.

Revolut

This new service, available across the European Economic Area (EEA), is provided by Revolut Securities Europe UAB and can be added to existing Revolut plans.

In addition to Trading Pro, Revolut has also extended market hours for trading US stocks. The trading availability for US stocks has increased from 6.5 hours to 16 hours per day, allowing users to trade between 4am EST (10am CET) and 8pm EST (2am CET).

Included free of charge for Ultra plan subscribers, Trading Pro offers several key benefits to active investors. One of the primary features is discounted commission fees, reduced to just 0.12% from the previous 0.25% for trades exceeding the free trade allowance of the current Revolut plan. This reduction eliminates the minimum country-based fee, although other fees may still apply.

The service also expands the limits for orders on US and EEA stocks and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Users can now place orders ranging from $10,000 to $1,500,000 per order for US stocks and up to €1,500,000 for EEA stocks and ETFs, with a maximum of 50,000 shares per trade.

Data-driven decision-making is a crucial aspect of Trading Pro. Users gain access to advanced portfolio analytics, including performance benchmarking, tracking of realized profit & loss, and insights into portfolio allocation.

Furthermore, Trading Pro introduces a desktop Trading Terminal, accessible at trade.revolut.com. This feature allows active traders to create custom workspaces, monitor market trends, and execute trades efficiently from a single screen, aiming to provide the ultimate desktop trading experience.

The Trading Pro subscription plan is now available in the EEA region for a monthly fee of 15 EUR, with the first month offered as a free trial. Users with a trading account can upgrade to the Trading Pro subscription via the Revolut app.

This announcement follows the recent launch of Revolut 10, the platform’s largest update yet. The update introduced a significant overhaul of the app’s design and layout, focusing on ease of everyday money management, particularly for users who primarily use the app as their bank account.

Revolut continues to offer customers access to a wide range of investment options, including over 2200 US-traded companies, 70+ European-listed stocks, and over 150 ETFs via the Revolut app.
