Lime Trading has appointed Eva Sehic as Chief Executive Officer and Johan Sandblom as President and Head of Business Development.
The agency broker providing direct market access to the US equities and options markets will leverage both executives’ expertise to optimize business operations to best serve retail traders and institutional clients, the firm said.
Lime Trading was established in 2000 by hedge fund traders who couldn’t find a brokerage firm to meet their needs for volume, speed, and privacy. The agency broker soon expanded further by providing quality execution to both retail and institutional market participants, standing between the bulge bracket banks and retail brokerage firms offering US equities and options trading.
The company recently added VPS offerings, Python coding languages for its popular retail trading API, and introduced new order types.
Eva Sehic and Johan Sandblom will work on expanding Lime Trading
Eva Sehic joined Lime Trading in September 2023 as Chief Operating Officer, where she achieved significant cost containment, operational efficiency, and collaborative strategy development, laying a solid foundation for further innovations.
Having entered the financial services industry via Goldman Sachs in 2000, serving in the Eva Sehic moved to Deutsche Bank where she worked in ICG US Debt for nearly seven years as well.
From 2014 to 2023, she held major roles at Sberbank’s New York-based operation, including COO and CEO, and also serving in the board of directors. She joined Lime Trading after a brief stint as COO of Hold Brothers Capital.
