Business Travel Shared Services (BTSS) has responsibility for core and non-core products of BTSS, and the functions to support these for Australia and New Zealand.  The team is accountable to Regional and Global BTSS for the delivery of services at country level and for actively contributing to regional and global initiatives

 

The role of Senior Manager of Business and Travel Shared Services is to build and grow Citibank’s long-term relationships with our business and travel Services vendors, helping them to succeed in providing best of breed services for the business while solving problems and realising opportunities.  This role is also the primary contact point for developing strategic solutions for our services and lead the BTSS team through:

  • Partnering with vendors to deliver professional sourcing and contract management services to the businesses
  • Developing and implementing process improvements and system enhancements to increase productivity and reduce risk
  • Reducing costs to the businesses while delivering goods and services which meet their requirements
  • Developing effective strategic partnerships with key suppliers and ensure all onboarding, ongoing documentation meets Citi standards

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities include:

  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Monthly meetings with primary stakeholders to discuss performance monitoring and Metrics, Third Party Performance, Projects, Innovation, Business Saves, Risks and Issues, Stakeholder and Users feedback, alignment of business requirements, controls, incidents and financials
  • Conduct Vendor Quarterly Performance meetings reviewing SLAs, metrics, billing
  • Follow up on performance deficiencies with external vendors
  • Work in partnership with each Region Product Lead and with Region Lead for communications and rollouts / upgrades / initiatives
  • Team Management – 6 direct reports/ 4 matrix reports
  • Ensure controls are identified, in place and performing properly
  • Monitor Country budget and actuals, identify and raise issues around overages
