 Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Client Solutions, this role has end to end responsibility for sales and implementation activity for assigned opportunities within our middle office business across Asia Pacific.


  • Act as the IMS lead on designated sales opportunities throughout the sales and implementation lifecycle

  • Act as key interface between business and sales teams throughout the sales process

  • Prepare Client/Prospect presentations and supporting materials

  • Lead sales presentations and client due diligence workshops

  • Own the coordination and completion of RFP responses

  • Own the Deal Model process, working with the IMS Finance team, global business owners and sector sales teams to create deal models and obtain relevant approvals

  • Participate in cross business stream op model discussions to assist in the solution design  

  • Work with global counterparts to leverage expertise and ensure alignment with global standards across all workstreams

  • Provide weekly reporting on status of assigned sales and business development opportunities

  • Establish a strategy for a proactive business development model for the IMS business in APAC

  • Build effective working relationships with Sector Sales teams across the region

  • Ensure all Sector teams have a good understanding of our middle office service, including;

    • how to position with prospective clients

    • operating and service models

    • pricing models

    • Sell It Right process

  • Participate in new product development forums

  • Drive regulator engagement for target jurisdictions to understand what services can be provided

  • Promote IMS services within the industry by attending conferences, seminars and identifying speaking opportunities




Education Experience

  • Proven track record in a business development / client service environment, with a minimum 8 years’ experience

  • Excellent understanding of Middle Office Operations processes and deliverables

  • Proven ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner at all levels

  • Excellent presentation and relationship building skills

  • Strong time management and project management skills

  • Demonstrated market knowledge and understanding of the investment management industry

  • Thorough understanding of State Street operations - technical, systems, policies and procedures - is an advantage

  • Good understanding of the broader State Street business
