IC Markets taps TipRanks’ trading research tools

Sydney-based IC Markets has completed integration of TipRanks’s rating tools, which ranks analysts and financial bloggers based on their picks’ performance analysis, in a bid to provide its clients with new research capabilities.

IC Markets taps TipRanks' trading research tools

This collaboration is set to boost the trading research capabilities of IC Markets Global clients by giving them free access to TipRanks’ advanced tools.

The new service, “IC Insights powered by TipRanks,” integrates several tools such as News Sentiment, Investor Sentiment, Analyst Ratings, and Trending Stocks. These resources help users in making data-driven investment decisions. The News Sentiment tool, in particular, compiles sentiment data from over 130 financial news websites, providing a unique glimpse into market moods and trends.

Additionally, IC Markets Global clients will benefit from the Hedge Funds Activity tool, which examines the portfolio trends of major hedge funds to reveal buying or selling movements. This feature offers a peek into the strategies employed by some of the world’s leading hedge funds, enabling investors to refine their own investment strategies.

TipRanks CEO Uri Gruenbaum comments: “We are thrilled to partner with IC Markets Global, a prominent Forex CFD broker. TipRanks’ investment research tools will undoubtedly enhance the user experience for IC Markets clients, granting them unparalleled access to analysts’ ratings and stock recommendations. This collaboration is a step forward in our ongoing effort to level the playing field for all investors.”

TipRanks creates a ‘financial accountability’ engine that collects digitally published stock recommendations and ranks thousands of analysts by performance, allowing investors to see their success rates. Specifically, TipRanks provides traders with real-time access to the track record and performance of any stock analyst, blogger, hedge fund, or corporate insider, dating back to January 2009. By simply searching for a name, users can see how well an analyst has performed, get real-time recommendations, and more.

While a few platforms, like Covestor, offer similar services, the Tel Aviv-based company claims to be the only one that shows how reliable a rating is by calculating the profitability of an analyst’s past ratings. This feature helps newcomers follow the lead of those who are more knowledgeable and better informed.

Interestingly, TipRanks can also identify the top 25 experts within each sector who consistently outperform the markets.
