Christine Kiener joins Saxo Markets UK as Head of Institutional Sales

Saxo Bank has appointed Christine Kiener as the new Head of Sales for the institutional business at its UK subsidiary, Saxo Markets UK.

Based in London and reporting to Saxo Markets UK chief executive Charles White -Thomson, Christine Kiener with her a wealth of experience in fintech sales, particularly for digital platforms.

She joins Saxo Markets from Bravura Solutions, where she was EMEA Head of Business Development leading sales efforts across all product lines. Her fintech career, which spans nearly 20 years, includes leadership roles at Bloomberg L.P. and Interactive Data.

At Bloomberg LP, she was EMEA head of enterprise data specialist sales, where she led a group of 45 Data Sales Specialists in EMEA, across six teams, including: Real-time Data Feeds and Technology; Risk & Valuations (Pricing and Liquidity), Quant solutions (Alternative Data, Event Driven feeds, NLP and Quant tools), and Content (Reference Data, Regulatory) & Data Management (ex Polarlake).

In late May 2022, the FCA-regulated subsidiary of multi-asset trading and investment fintech specialist Saxo Bank hired Joanna Moberly as the new Head of Legal and Company Secretary. She joined Saxo from Lloyds Banking Group where she was a Senior Lawyer in the commercial banking team.

Earlier this year, Saxo’s UK operation appointed Peter Morris as the new Chief Operating Officer, bbased in London and reporting to chief executive Charles White-Thomson.

The new board member joined Saxo Markets UK following the recent appointment of seasoned industry figures Nicholas Wilcock and Michael Ridley to the board as Non-Executive Directors.

Also in January 2022, Saxo Markets UK appointed Nicholas Wilcock and Michael Ridley as non-executive directors, bringing 65  years of collective experience spanning commercial, regulatory and operational roles with leading organizations. As non-executive directors, Nicholas and Michael will provide independent advice, deliberation and review at a time when the business continues to expand its offering in the trading and investing space.
