BC Labs awarded ISO 27001 certification ahead of launch of crypto social trading platform, PlayV

“As we aim to provide users with a safe and secure cryptocurrency social trading platform, we are committed to protecting our customer information and ensuring compliance with information security-related laws by achieving ISO 27001 certification.”

Cryptocurrency social trading platform developer BC Labs has been awarded a ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification for information security management system.

The move comes in good time as BC Labs continues the development of PlayV, a cryptocurrency trading strategy marketplace where investors can follow pro traders and manage their assets with them.

Through PlayV, an investor can invest as little as $50 to be managed by professional traders within minutes.

PlayV is partnered with Binance Broker Program and ensures assets are protected by the exchange insurance and user data will never be sold to third parties.

The social trading platform has partnered with a number of big names within the space, including SoftBank and Binance to allow investors to simply choose crypto trading strategies carefully designed by top-performing traders. Users will have the experts manage their assets “while you get your coffee and go about taking care of your own business”. Traders can share their insights with their followers and build up another income stream with increased AUM.

BC Labs committed to protecting customer information

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is the international standard that helps organizations to understand the various requirements of an information security management system (ISMS).

The standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an ISMS as well as requirements for assessment and treatment of information security risks.

Steve Hong, Chief Executive Office at BC Labs, said: “As we aim to provide users with a safe and secure cryptocurrency social trading platform, we are committed to protecting our customer information and ensuring compliance with information security-related laws by achieving ISO 27001 certification. Furthermore, we will prioritize ensuring that BC Labs meets global standards for our customers who are seeking assurance of our information security practices.”

BC Labs is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea and PlayV’s chief executive Steve Hong was previously fund manager at Mirae Asset Global Investments as well as Manager of the Investment Banking Division of KEB Hana Bank.
