Karthik Subramanian has been a professional trader and fund manager over the last 18 years. He is basically a software developer who made the transition to financial domain around 18 years back as the attractiveness of the financial markets proved too much for him. He lives in Chennai in India along with his wife and son. He began his career as a software developer in 1999 and then gradually moved into the financial industry as he began trading stocks in his pastime. He then moved into the financial markets full time and then shifted his focus to the FX markets due to the liquid nature of these markets. ATFX Appoints Former SBI FX Executive, Ryan Tsui as its CEO for its UAE Division

AT Capital Markets (ATFX), the London-based leading online forex trading broker has hired Ryan Tsui to lead it UAE office. Ryan Tsui has been appointed as a CEO of its ADGM office. 

Ryan Tsui has extensive knowledge of the fx industry and excellent managerial capabilities and within short 13 years of time, he was able to climb the top of the ladder. Hong Kong-based Ryan Tsui started his career with FXCM Asia Ltd. where he spent over five years and left as an Asset sales manager. He has worked with various leading forex brokerage including GKFX, KVB Kunlun and most recent in Japanese Fx giant SBI FX where he joined as an Operations Director. His experience includes in the range of products including forex, indices, equities, commodities, spread betting, CFDs, futures & options.

Ryan’s primary role in the ATFX UAE’s office will be to lead the company in establishing a strong presence in the Middle East region. The company stated that Mr Ryan has already handpicked his Middle East team from human resources to sales, choosing carefully and ensuring each member fits with the company’s vision and mission. The company has already created a niche for itself in Europe and Sout-East Asia with its advanced trading platforms and excellent customer support. The company believes that Mr Ryan will be the perfect suit to lead the company’s operation given his extensive knowledge and experience.

ATFX already has licensed from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and before entering the Middle East market, it has spent a lot of time in researching the market and understanding the demand of the region. 

For Mr Ryan Tsui it will be an exciting time to lead and establish the company’s operation in the region from scratch. He commented:
