Online payments provider AstroPay has entered into a partnership with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, building on pre-existing sponsorships with English top-flight clubs.
Under this agreement, AstroPay becomes the official payment partner of the football club. The branding of AstroPay will be displayed throughout the stadium starting from the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
As part of this collaboration, a new Spurs-branded prepaid card has been introduced, offering exclusive benefits and rewards related to the club. Users of the prepaid card and other AstroPay products can earn AstroPoints with each purchase. These points can be redeemed for various exciting experiences, such as premium match tickets, tours of the training center, and virtual meet and greets with players.

AstroPay, a payment company founded in 2009 and headquartered in London, specializes in providing crypto exchanges and fintech firms with seamless transaction services. The vast variety of payment methods that AstroPay offers allow crypto exchanges to be ahead of the competition by reaching thousands of new customers within emerging markets. Overall, the service supports 130+ alternative payment methods, such as local debit and credit cards, cash, online bank transfers and electronic funds transfers (EFTs).
With more than 300 employees, AstroPay has established partnerships with various football teams over the years, including Club Universidad de Chile, Wolves, Crystal Palace FC, and Burnley FC.
AstroPay’s branding is now featuring on the front of all Wolves shirts next season, including the men’s and women’s first-teams, and under-23s for the 2023/24 season. The financial terms weren’t disclosed, but industry insiders speculate that similar deals had been worth $10 million per year for such a privilege.
