- Provide technical support to external Dealer and Client users of the trading platform.
- Provide a central first-line support function for Asia clients
- Own and proactively resolve issues in the production / service requests and ensure they are correctly logged in.
- Manage new dealers and clients on-boarding process effectively and appropriately assisting them during implementation and subsequent use of the trading platform
- Raise and track issues through the use of the helpdesk ticketing mechanism.
- Provide internal technical support for internal business users.
- Drive Clients platform integration projects and assist them through delivery.
- Perform daily application checks, user logins and monitor critical processes.
- Review and improve support processes and monitoring tools.
- Basic MIS Reporting activities, provide adhoc reports to external/internal customers.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Undertake other occasional additional duties as may be reasonably required such as weekend support during releases and other Integration /support tasks which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
- At least 3 years of Production Support experience in the financial industry.
- Knowledge of FIX /Fixed Income products, order and trade flow and Ecommerce platform tools.
- Prior experience in Application/Production support required.
- Provide customer focused application support, using business and technology knowledge effectively
- Ability to resolve problems and incidents across multiple technology areas.
- Knowledge of UNIX, SQL, XML and Scripting Language a must. JAVA experience desirable.
- Oracle database skills SQL Based Reports is highly desirable.
- Configuration and management of vendor or bespoke monitoring toolsets
- Networking concepts protocols in a trading environment
- Experience of Order Management systems, Execution systems is highly desired.
- Strong team player, effective in communicating internationally and used to working closely with client support team
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent results.
- Language Skills: English / Mandarin / Cantonese
- Willingness to travel in APAC
